Apple changes Lucida Grande in Tiger? My Ti PowerBook is now running Tiger with all of its fancy improvements and other happiness. Thing now look different, mostly in good ways... But there is one thing that bothers me.... Lucida Grande has been changed. Yes, the font that OS X uses to display menus, and almost any other text generated by the system is now different. I first noticed right after the install... Things seemed a bit different... But I couldn't put my finger on it... Until a client called and asked why I had changed th font on his website! See... The old Lucida Grande is a very pleasant font to look at. I have used it for years as the first font in my sans-serif stylesheets... That way my mac brethren are treated to a slightly nicer browsing experience. Verdana can be a little dry at times. So now I need to find another visually pleasing font in Apple's library to satisfy my Tiger within.
