So, I have been rather overwhelmed of late. There has been so much to do in getting ready for the new year. We have readied about 400 student and faculty laptops, moved phone lines around as people have moved, and find that we are in a hole that is still pretty deep as far as things to do. We need a lot more help around here. My sister got married smack in the middle of the whole thing. It was a great wedding and I had a blast, but the timing sucked in terms of how it worked with my work schedule. There is more that I should be doing too… The week after my sister’s wedding was a reunion for all of my shipmates… 10 years! can you believe it? and then there is a friend’s bachelor party in Vegas that I should go to, and last… my 15 year high school reunion. I am missing all three of these events. Between work and not enough money to attend the one or two that I really want to get to… Well… It is a bit of a frustrating month for me.
