Imagine my surprise when I was at Pandora.com this evening and saw the above graphic. Looking closely at it you can see that it includes BlackBerry now…
I immediately tried to download the app for my BlackBerry Storm. FAIL. It’s not supported on the Storm yet.
Next I try my wife’s 8830 from Verizon. I get it installed, and get her credentials in there, but then it too FAILS. It spun for 20 minutes trying to “sign in.” I did get an error saying that Pandora was trying to open a connection inside and outside the firewall and that my/her IT policy does not allow that. Since her BlackBerry is not on a BES, I am not sure whose IT Policy they are talking about. Verizon’s? If so, why would the site say they support her phone through Verizon.
Disapointing.
