Last week, several colleagues and I traveled to the NCCE Conference in Portland, OR. We followed it up with a trip over to Catlin Gabel school. It was a truly enlightening experience. I was able to see some of my coworkers in a completely different light… I realized that some of my perceptions of these folks simply were not true, and were created and fostered by other coworkers. These were people that I really never had the chance to get to know, and once I did, I realized that I really like them.
I suppose it really is important to get to know the people you work with… even those who you may not work with very often.
