Sally Finds a Stray - I want one too!

imageBrowsing through my feeds today and Dooce provided me with this wonderful link to a fantastic shirt.  I am sure this comes form a story, of which I know nothing, but I can think of several people that need this shirt.

Lets not even get started on the G10 further down the page.

    Minor Changes

A few minor cosmetic changes to these pages should provide easier readability.  I have moved the horizontal rules to the bottom of each entry, rather than being between the title and the body text.  I don’t know why I did that in the first place, but it often made it look like the title belonged to the entry above it, particularly when you were looking a entries in the middle of the page.

    Life Changes

You know that feeling you get when you do something that changes the fabric of your life so completely and so irrevocably that you nearly instantly regret having taken that action?  I am talking about the decisions that you make, that affect your life, and usually the lives of others so deeply that there simply is no going back.  Your world gets thrown on it’s beam ends and it takes a few weeks before you come back up for air.

My friend just made one of these decisions.  His world changed significantly today.  Those closest to him will likely be hurt, and natrually in order to make a decision like this, he too must be in a lot of pain.

I am thinking about you my friend.

    Under New Management

imageWhen I see images like this, I smile.  I smile knowings that we are now in good hands.  I smile knowing that change is coming.  I smile knowing that once again American travelers will be welcome in foreign countries.  Sure, it will take a while to get back all that good will, but we can do it.  Yes we can.
