    “Good Fences Make Good Neighbors”

With the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, it is amazing to me that all around the world we are still living with wall that are built to keep people separated.  In some cases we are building new walls, in many cases we are still living with the old walls.

    Under New Management

imageWhen I see images like this, I smile.  I smile knowings that we are now in good hands.  I smile knowing that change is coming.  I smile knowing that once again American travelers will be welcome in foreign countries.  Sure, it will take a while to get back all that good will, but we can do it.  Yes we can.

    Oh Happy Day!

It is a beautiful, crisp, clear day in the Pacific Northwest and Obama is the President Elect.

Saddam is Dead - Was it the right choice?

Saddam was hanged early this morning, in Baghdad.  Was it the right thing to do?  I don’t know.

On one hand, he god is (fair?) trial…  yet on the other hand, is Killing him going to make up for everything he has done?

Will we now have additional terrorist threats…. from terrorist units that believe him wrongly accused/tired/killed?

Were oh were will this one go?
